A National Bank of Pakistan IBAN cannot be worked out from your account number alone.

NBP prefixes the account number with a branch-specific code that is not part of the number printed on your cheque book. Without that prefix the IBAN cannot be derived.

Rather than hand you an IBAN that looks right and quietly is not, this tool does not guess. Every other Pakistani IBAN converter that accepts a National Bank of Pakistanaccount number is padding it and hoping — a transfer sent to a wrong-but-valid-looking IBAN can be rejected, delayed, or land in someone else's account.

Where to find your National Bank of Pakistan IBAN

  1. 1Open your banking app and go to your account details — the IBAN is usually shown next to the account number, ready to copy.
  2. 2Check the header of any recent account statement, where the IBAN is printed in full.
  3. 3Log in to internet banking and open the account summary.
  4. 4Call your bank’s helpline or visit your branch and ask for the IBAN for your account.
